The Great Awakening : TRUTH, LOVE & FREEDOM
by Murray Edwards Art : ME Art
The Awakening Triptych
A three‑tiered transmission exploring the cosmic, societal, and individual dimensions of Awakening. Each painting stands alone, yet together they form a single movement — a shift from the universal, to the collective, to the deeply personal.
To Think Is Not To Know (#2)
The societal level — the shift from intellect to awareness.
The Great Awakening : TRUTH, LOVE & FREEDOM
The cosmic level — the moment of emergence.
Identity.
The individual level — the self meeting itself.
Welcome to the TRUTH, LOVE & FREEDOM Tribe.
This is the place for those who walked the hard road and kept their inner flame alive.
A place for the ones who never quite fit the world they were born into — because they were meant to help build the next one.
If you’re here, it’s not by accident.
Something in you recognised something in this work.
A colour. A symbol. A feeling. A truth you’ve carried quietly for years.
This Tribe is not a club, a brand, or a marketing funnel.
It is a homecoming — a return to the part of you that always knew there was more.
We gather around four pillars:
Truth — the courage to see clearly.
Love — the force that binds and heals.
Freedom — the birthright of every awakened soul.
Joy — the natural state that emerges when the first three are lived.
Here, you are not asked to become anything.
You are recognised for what you already are.
This movement was born in the desert, on the road, in the quiet places where the world falls away and the real self steps forward.
It grew from art, from awakening, from lived experience — not theory.
And now it extends to you.
By joining this Tribe, you’re stepping into a lineage of people who choose clarity over confusion, sovereignty over noise, and creation over fear.
You’re not following.
You’re remembering.
Welcome home.
We see you.
We honour you.
We walk with you.

STATEMENT OF BELIEF
This work was not born from ambition, strategy, or a desire to impress.
It emerged from a moment of clarity — a rupture in the ordinary — where the truth of who I am and what I am here to do revealed itself without negotiation.
Everything that follows comes from that moment.
I believe that every human being carries an inner compass — a quiet, unwavering sense of what is true.
Most people learn to silence it.
A few refuse.
Those few are my people.
I believe that art is not decoration.
It is transmission.
It carries memory, intention, and the unseen architecture of the soul.
When it is made in truth, it awakens truth in others.
I believe that freedom is not granted by systems, governments, or institutions.
Freedom is an internal state — a recognition of one’s own sovereignty — and once awakened, it cannot be taken.
I believe that love is not softness.
Love is the most powerful force in existence.
It is the glue of consciousness, the healer of wounds, the dissolver of fear.
I believe that joy is not entertainment.
Joy is the natural expression of a human being living in alignment with their truth.
I believe that the world is in a process of awakening — messy, painful, necessary — and that those who feel this shift are not imagining it.
They are responding to a call that has been echoing for generations.
I believe that my role is to create work that helps people remember who they are.
Not by preaching.
Not by teaching.
But by revealing — through colour, form, symbol, and story — the deeper reality that sits beneath the noise.
I believe that the Tribe is not a community I am building.
It is a community I am recognising.
These people already exist.
They have always existed.
My work simply gives them a place to gather.
I believe that truth, love, freedom, and joy are not ideals.
They are states of being.
They are the four directions of the awakened human.
And I believe that everything I create — every painting, every video, every word — must honour the moment of transmission that began this journey.
The moment where the veil lifted and I saw clearly.
This is the foundation.
This is the ground of being.
This is the belief that shapes the work, the movement, and the Tribe.
If you feel resonance with these words, it is because you already carry the same knowing within you.
Welcome to the beginning.
